Reverse features neat period fountain pen handwriting detailing the Prince's full names and birth details.

An authentic early Edwardian Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) depicting young Prince Edward of York (later King Edward VIII / Duke of Windsor) as a child in a traditional naval sailor suit and cap.

Published by the Rotary Photo Co. Ltd., London E.C., this card dates from the undivided back postcard era (c. 1901–1907).

Subject: Prince Edward of York, eldest son of King George V, who reigned briefly as King Edward VIII in 1936 before his abdication.

Attire: Royal Navy sailor suit with striped collar and dark beret style sailor cap.
