**Vintage Herbert Lucht German Hand-Carved Wood Figurine Set – Boy with Goose & Girl with Chicken**

Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible set of two vintage hand-carved solid wood figurines from the workshop of renowned German woodcarver **Herbert Lucht**. His studio (*Holzschnitzereien*) was historically located at Gerberzwinger 35 in **Bischofsheim an der Rhön, Germany**—an area globally celebrated for its specialized wood-sculpting lineage and schools.

One figurine proudly retains its original gold foil studio label on the bottom, completely authenticating the pair.

**About the Pieces:**

* **Boy Figurine:** Features a young country boy playfully holding a large goose.

* **Girl Figurine:** Depicts a young girl pouring feed from a small jug/pot while a prize chicken looks up at her feet.

Both items are beautifully hand-sculpted from a single block of lightweight, warm-toned hardwood. They remain unpainted to elegantly highlight the distinctive wood grain, subtle tool facets, and artistic textures characteristic of authentic Rhön region craftsmanship.

**Condition:**

Excellent pre-owned vintage condition. There are no cracks, structural breaks, or major chips. The wood shows a beautiful natural color and light patina consistent with age. One base retains the original paper artisan label. Please review all high-resolution listing photos closely as they represent the definitive visual condition of these unique art pieces.
