Original antique Standard-Designer Pattern No. 7853 with Belrobe illustrated sewing instructions. A documented Standard-Designer No. 7576 was advertised in May 1924, while No. 7969 appeared in December 1924. Your No. 7853 falls directly between those numbers, making mid-to-late 1924 the most plausible production period. Ladies' and Misses' tunic dress with separate slip and choice of three-quarter or shorter sleeves. Marked Bust 44. Complete set with all 10 original tissue pattern pieces present and intact, plus the original illustrated Belrobe instruction sheet. Pattern uses period perforated tissue markings. Suggested fabrics include georgette crepe, crepe de Chine, flat crepe, satin crepe, printed crepe, foulard and voile. Original envelope shows substantial age-related toning, staining, creasing and edge wear. Tissue and instructions show normal age and handling wear. Please review photographs carefully for condition. Original antique pattern, not a modern reproduction. The historical evidence also supports Standard-Designer patterns being marketed with the Belrobe dressmaking guide during the 1920s; contemporary advertisements describe the Belrobe as an illustrated guide included with Standard-Designer patterns
