Long before the band became global superstars, Fleetwood Mac were a formidable blues-rock outfit, driven by the fiery guitar work of Peter Green and the dynamic rhythm section of Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. This live radio broadcast from Radio Aberdeen captures the group in their early prime, delivering a vibrant set filled with powerful blues, searing guitar, infectious grooves and the raw energy of a band built for the stage.

There is something wonderfully nostalgic about hearing Fleetwood Mac in this intimate era -- when their sound was still evolving and every performance carried the spontaneity and excitement of a young band making its mark. The atmosphere of the period comes vividly to life, transporting listeners back to the clubs and concert halls of the late 1960s.
