This is an original divided back Halloween Postcard, postally used and postmarked 1912 from Chicopee, Massachusetts. Postcard is signed by renowned artist Ellen Clapsaddle. Features an embossed illustration of a startled young child in white pajamas with hair standing on end, looking toward a black cat in a window, a lit candle, and an overturned "Ghost Stories" book. A crescent moon can also be seen in the window. Reads "Halloween Greetings".
