OVERVIEW

The Bosch RA1165 is an under-table router base designed for table-mounted routing applications. It is based on the Bosch fixed base design and features an above-table bit height adjustment mechanism. This model replaces the previous RA1164 under-table base.

MOUNTING

The base includes threaded holes positioned in Bosch's 4-hole subbase pattern and the common 3-hole subbase pattern, allowing it to be mounted to virtually any table surface and common router table plates. Mounting hardware is included.

BIT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

Bit height can be adjusted from above the table using the included T-wrench (hex key). The motor housing does not rotate during depth adjustment, which eliminates potential horizontal movement of the bit. Two additional protective devices prevent the motor from falling when the quick-clamp is released.

BASE OPENING

The base features a wide 3-3/4 inch opening to accommodate the use of larger router bits.

BASE CHANGE SYSTEM

A tool-free quick-clamp system allows the motor to be moved between bases with ease.
