1. Sony cassette tape Walkman WM-FX455. Radio and cassette Walkman. No headphones. Has been stored. I put batteries in it and the radio worked, though it seemed to go off if I moved about. One cassette head tape was moving and I could hear it, but not moving enough to actually play any cassettes - I guess it needs a belt or something else. Battery compartment clean. Buttons all work.
Case slightly worn at corners.
2. Panasonic cassette player - RQ-P155. Stored with the Sony above. I had forgotten about them and didn’t realise there were batteries in them - the batteries in this had only just started to leak, but no real damage done. I put new batteries in and I think it was making some noise when I pressed the play button but the spindles were not turning. No headphones.
3. Digitor micro cassette recorder. When I put batteries in, it was trying to work, spindle turning but not enough to run a tape. Battery compartment clean.
4. Anker Soundcore Spirit X - I think that’s what it is! Most of these items were my son’s - he left them here a long time ago!
I don’t know if this works or how it works. I charged it with a cable from another device and after about an hour the charging light changed from red to blue. It does seem to turn on.
5. Optimus 33-3013 - I think? I took the button battery out, and the inside is clean. It’s a microphone to attach to your tie, or shirt perhaps. Not really sure how it works.
6. Sony Walkman WM-EX508.  - spindles move freely, and it is clean inside. It was kept in a small case with a belt loop. The Walkman itself is very clean and very little wear on the case - probably as it’s been inside a carry case.
UPDATE - apologies for taking original post down briefly- I thought I could include the battery but have realised I can’t legally
post it with the Walkman so the sale does not include the original rechargeable battery.
However I did recharge the battery and insert it in the Walkman and there is definitely a whirring sound when I press play. It sounds like it is trying to run. It opens and closes with a lovely clean action. It’s a lovely little piece of technology.
I hope all this is helpful.

Please note There are no headphones or batteries any of with these, and I have tried to give very honest descriptions. They belonged to a family member, and have not come from any other sale.

These were all stored in a fairly air tight plastic box, and not exposed to damp or lots of dust. I thought someone might want them as a project, so I’ve listed them here.
