“Chickadee Songtime” from Elsa Williams/Colorart Crewel #00364, undated.  Adapted from a design by Lena Liu.  Finished project fits a 12 x 24 inch frame with mat (not included).  Kit contains: portions of the design printed in full color on polyester fabric; wood crewel yarn; cotton floss; needle; directions and stitch instructions.  All these items are present, including the cover sheet, but the original bag is missing.  The former owner surrounded the fabric with masking tape to keep it from fraying.  She separated the wool and floss onto a card.  This is the type of project where the stitching embellishes the printed design.  The former owner embroidered part of one bird (see photo with detail), but I don’t know if some of the wool or floss might be missing.
