Unusual little late 19th.c. French inlaid rosewood console table c.1880. Just 30" wide and 11" deep at the top. White marble top with a reeded edge over a rosewood veneered base with a single slim drawer in the front. Shaped front supports swept back to join the straight rear stiles with attractive inlaid marquetry detail in contrasting wood to both sides top and bottom. Inlaid stringing and matching mouldings. Raised on a plinth base. Note the plainer right hand side, without the mouldings at the top. Some old wear and repairs, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
