An original British silver threepence dated 1890 from the reign of Queen Victoria.
The obverse features Queen Victoria’s Jubilee Head portrait with the inscription VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITT: REGINA F:D:.
The reverse displays the crowned numeral 3, with the date 1890 divided either side, surrounded by an oak wreath.

CONDITION: This is a circulated Victorian coin with considerable age-related wear, particularly to Queen Victoria’s portrait. The reverse retains good visible detail, including the crown, denomination, wreath and clear 1890 date.
There is general surface wear, toning, marks and discolouration consistent with a coin of this age and circulation history.

COLLECTION INFORMATION: This coin forms part of my late father-in-law’s collection. My mother-in-law has asked me to list the collection on her behalf, as she would like the coins to go to other collectors who will appreciate and enjoy them.
