Expert Research & Listing Insights

Dating the Piece: Based on the "Discus Athletic" green-lettered tag and the "Made in USA" 50/50 blend, this hoodie likely dates from the late 1980s to early 1990s.
Style Note: This features Raglan sleeves, meaning there is no shoulder seam. This allows for a better range of motion and is a hallmark of vintage athletic wear.
Fit Warning: Vintage "Large" sizes typically run smaller than modern sizes. I have highlighted the 20.25" pit-to-pit measurement so buyers can compare it to a hoodie they already own.
Market Appeal: The "Carolina Blue" colorway for UCLA items is highly sought after by collectors of "True Vintage" collegiate apparel.
