Richard Ginori made this coffee cup for the (old) Cataract Hotel in Aswan, Egypt. This famed hotel was built in 1899 and a new wing was added in 1961. It was remodeled and upgraded in the 1980s. The cup is clearly marked, most likely from the earlier part of the hotel, and was made in Italy.  The cup is about 2 1/4" tall and about 3 1/4" in diameter. It appears to be made of heavy porcelain. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, or scratches. There is no saucer. Questions are welcomed. Combined shipping for multiple purchases is available. Returns are possible under regular guidelines, including the buyer paying for return shipping. I usually ship via USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail since these include insurance. If you are making an offer, please give me at least 24 hours to respond.
