Here is a fantastic original example of this postwar Lionel o gauge freight car set. Includes #3462 Operating Milk car in white with black lettering, original platform, original box for the milk cartons, and original box with insert. It is all original with no touchup or repaint ever. The car itself is in very good condition showing light wear with some small nicks and one small crack on the bottom edge of one side. All trim is intact. It has not been tested. The car would clean to a bright white. The platform is gorgeous. It is high grade with a bright clean finish showing almost no wear. The original box for the milk cartons is square with flaps on one end missing. There are no milk cartons. The rear star of the show here is the large original box. It is absolutely gorgeous. It is strong square and crispy, like new with all flaps intact. It includes a brick original insert. This box is impossible to find in condition like this! Also includes a perfect original instruction sheet. Please examine photos as they are the best description. Great example, no reserve!
