Item Description

Morris F-91II (no260925)

This is an F-91II 2018s from Morris, a long-established brand manufactured in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, and is in excellent condition.

A traditional model featuring a folk-style orchestra body with a vertical Morris logo. The body top is spruce, the sides and back are mahogany, the neck is also mahogany, and the fingerboard and bridge are rosewood. The nut width is 43mm and the scale length is 630mm. The body has a gloss finish, and the neck back has a satin finish.

It is equipped with GOTOH SG381-20C tuners, which operate smoothly. The body binding features a tortoiseshell pattern. With an abalone rosette, a vertical logo on the headstock, a tortoiseshell pickguard, and dot position markers, it is finished in an orthodox and traditional style. The bracing is standard X-bracing.

Although 8 years have passed since it was new, there are no major noticeable dents or scratches, and it remains in beautiful condition. There are only pick marks on the pickguard and scuff marks on the headplate that appear to have occurred during string changes, and the neck back and fretboard are also in good condition.

The string height at the 12th fret is 2.6mm for the 6th string and 1.8mm for the 1st string. The saddle height is sufficient and the frets are in good condition. There is still room for adjustment in the truss rod, so it can be used maintenance-free for the time being.

The sound is characterized by the light and quick attack typical of mahogany. When fingerpicked, the delicate articulation and rich midrange resonate pleasantly. It can handle a wide range of styles from strumming to fingerstyle, and is also ideal for accompanying vocals.

This model is currently out of production and is rarely seen on the used market. It is in beautiful condition with excellent playability. Accessories include the original hardshell case.
