Body similar to 1940s-50s Pilot models. The pen writes nicely.
This is a Japanese eyedropper, which is much like a regular eyedropper, but there is an inkstop mechanism actuated by an ebonite rod that is regulated by a knob in the rear of the pen (Opus 88 pens use the same mechanism).
The rear cork seal was leaky so it has been replaced with a silicone rubber O-ring and sealed with silicone grease. Please twist the rear out and shake somewhat for a cold start before writing (but watch where the pen is pointing since it will spit ink). The pen has been tested with standard pilot fountain pen ink.
