Step into one of the most beloved and inspirational films in American cinema with this 5" x 25" theater-style mylar featuring the classic 1989 baseball fantasy-drama Field of Dreams!
Written and directed by Phil Alden Robinson, Field of Dreams stars Kevin Costner as Ray Kinsella, an Iowa farmer who hears a mysterious voice telling him, "If you build it, he will come." Following that strange message, Ray transforms part of his cornfield into a baseball diamond, setting into motion a remarkable journey involving the past, baseball legends, family, dreams, and second chances.
Based on W. P. Kinsella's novel Shoeless Joe, Field of Dreams became an enduring American classic and one of the most memorable sports films ever made. The film was nominated for three Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and its emotional story has made it a favorite among generations of movie and baseball fans.
This striking theater-style design features Kevin Costner standing in the middle of the famous Iowa cornfield, surrounded by the lush green crops beneath a beautiful blue sky. The iconic FIELD OF DREAMS title dominates the center of the banner, while the image perfectly captures the peaceful, nostalgic atmosphere that made the film so unforgettable.
These long, narrow banners were traditionally displayed above the entrances to movie theater auditoriums and are a unique form of theatrical advertising. Their distinctive 5" x 25" format makes them especially appealing to movie memorabilia collectors, classic film fans, baseball enthusiasts, and home theater enthusiasts.
Printed on flexible backlit material, this mylar can be displayed as-is or illuminated from behind for an impressive lightbox presentation.
