Vintage Otagiri Japan Embossed "Black Sheep" Stoneware Mug

Up for sale is a charming, whimsical vintage stoneware coffee mug crafted by Otagiri Japan. This collectible features a wonderful "stand out from the crowd" motif, showing a dense herd of white sheep outlined in slate blue lines, with a single, deeply textured black sheep sitting right in the center.

The body elements are lightly embossed, giving the wool coats a unique tactile feel. It has a lovely two-tone design with a glossy chocolate-brown rim and matching interior glaze.
