I am sadly clearing some of my Dad's model collection, amongst which, I found this SHOWCASE MODELS BY HARRIS EDGE 1969 LNER FLYING SCOTSMAN UNASSEMBLED CARD MODEL KIT. INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED.
The overall completed model length, per the box, is 22 inches, based on a scale of 8mm : 1 foot.
The box is rather squashed after having spent its entire life under piles of other models and books! This does however mean that the various sheets are nice and flat, although they do smell a bit 'old book-ish'.
The model does not appear to have even been started BUT WHILST I NOTICE THE PARTS LIST GOES UP TO SHEET 14, I HAVE SHEETS 1-14 BUT EXCLUDING SHEET 13 ... 'THO I NOTICE THE PARTS LIST DOESN'T SEEM TO MENTION SHEET 13 AT ALL? COULD THAT NUMBER HAVE BEEN EXCLUDED FOR REASONS OF SUPERSTITION, I WONDER? I DON'T KNOW, BUT PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS BEFORE BIDDING!
