Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM Lens, used

The Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM is a professional L-series standard zoom lens designed to deliver outstanding image quality across a versatile 24-70mm focal length range. Combining wide-angle capability with short telephoto reach, it is an excellent all-round lens for portraiture, events, weddings, travel, landscapes and everyday professional photography.

Fast Constant f/2.8 Aperture

The lens features a constant f/2.8 maximum aperture throughout the entire zoom range, providing excellent performance in low-light conditions and greater control over depth of field. The large aperture also makes it possible to achieve attractive background blur while keeping the subject clearly defined.

Professional L-Series Optics

Designed as part of Canon's professional L-series, the EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM uses 16 elements in 13 groups, including aspherical and UD lens elements. This advanced optical construction helps minimise chromatic aberrations and maintain excellent sharpness, contrast and colour reproduction throughout the zoom range.

Fast & Quiet USM Autofocus

Canon's ring-type Ultrasonic Motor (USM) provides fast, precise and quiet autofocus performance. Full-time manual focus override allows the photographer to make fine focus adjustments at any time without having to switch out of autofocus mode.

Versatile 24-70mm Zoom Range

The 24-70mm focal range covers everything from wide-angle compositions to natural-looking standard perspectives and short telephoto shots. This versatility makes it particularly suitable for photographers who need one high-performance lens for a wide variety of shooting situations.

Close Focusing Performance

With a minimum focusing distance of just 0.38m (1.3ft) and maximum magnification of 0.29x, the lens is capable of capturing detailed close-up images as well as conventional wide-angle, portrait and general photography.

Professional Build Quality

The robust construction is designed for demanding professional use, with enhanced sealing to help protect against dust and moisture. A large zoom ring and well-positioned controls provide comfortable and responsive handling.
