The exhibition opened March 24, 1990 and was Brodsky and Utkin’s first New York exhibition.

Brodsky and Utkin were leading figures in the Soviet Paper Architecture movement, known for their extraordinarily detailed architectural etchings and imaginary structures. Their work is represented in major museum collections including MoMA and the Whitney Museum.
