Illustrated with Steir’s major 1990 painting Waterfall of the Asian Night.

The exhibition opened September 11, 1990 and presented Steir’s celebrated Waterfall paintings. The accompanying exhibition catalogue featured an essay by Holland Cotter.

Waterfall of the Asian Night was subsequently offered at Sotheby’s with an estimate of $700,000-$1,000,000.
