Up for sale is a beautiful, vintage original watercolor landscape painting featuring a serene autumn lake scene. The piece showcases vibrant fall foliage with red and orange trees reflecting off calm waters, contrasted by two tall, detailed evergreen trees. It is hand-signed in the lower right corner by the artist, D. P. Sondy. This is a true original painting (not a print) with wonderful depth, color, and technique. It was professionally framed by "The Horizon Framing Gallery" in a sturdy metal frame and includes a pre-attached wire hanging mount on the reverse side.

Condition Report (Please Read Carefully):

The Painting: EXCELLENT / UNDAMAGED condition. The original watercolor painting paper is entirely clean, flat, and dry. The vivid colors show zero signs of water bleeding, moisture warping, running paint, or mold.

The Framing & Matting (Water Damaged): There is highly visible, dark water staining and discoloration localized heavily on the right side of the inner orange paper mat board (as pictured). The moisture also reached the outer brown paper dust cover on the back corner.

Seller Note on the Damage:

Because of professional framing barrier layers, the liquid strictly stayed on the outer borders and never breached the painting itself. The sleek metal frame and hanging wire remain solid, clean, and structurally intact.

Because this uses a metal frame with corner brackets, it is incredibly easy to take apart. A buyer can easily unscrew the corners, slide out the glass, discard the water-stained orange mat, put a fresh mat board in, and slide it right back together. It is an ideal, straightforward restoration project to fully renew its presentation, or it can be displayed exactly as-is for aged, vintage character.

Please review all photos carefully as they form a vital part of the condition description. Sold exactly as-is.
