Absolutely stunning 17-inch ornate brass pricket candlestick with incredible old-world Baroque/Rococo styling. This substantial piece features deeply detailed floral and scrolling relief work, an elaborate architectural column, dramatic sculpted footed base, wide brass drip pan and traditional center candle spike.

The brass displays a beautiful aged finish with natural patina and oxidation, including verdigris on the spike, giving it tremendous character. No maker’s marks were found, so exact age and origin are unknown. Hollow cast construction is visible from underneath.

A spectacular statement piece for traditional, Gothic, Victorian, ecclesiastical or maximalist décor, and equally impressive displayed on a mantel, console or altar.
