Description: An authentic medieval silver halfpenny of Richard II, struck at the London mint. This piece is the Intermediate Style (N 1331b / Spink 1699).

• Obverse: Crowned facing bust, legend reads +RICARD REX ANGL. Clean chest/bust area with no additional mark or annulet.

• Reverse: Long cross pattée with three pellets in each quadrant, reading CIVI TAS LON DON. Features Roman Ns in LON DON, which is a scarcer reverse die combination for the Intermediate issue (more commonly found with Lombardic Ns).
