Here we have a nice Antique Vintage Mantel Clock with Mechanical Movement ,made in Switzerland in the early 20th Century.
Beautiful antique Edwardian architectural mantel clock is in full working order and ready to display. Crafted with a solid oak case, it features a classic rounded arch top, elegant barley twist side columns, bracket feet, and a clean white Porcelain Dial with Roman numerals.
Inside, the clock houses a premium, authentic Swiss-made platform lever escapement movement by the renowned Buren Watch Company. It ticks smoothly and keeps good time. Because it uses a pocket-watch style balance wheel rather than a pendulum, it is reliable and very easy to set up.
The clock comes complete with its original stamped Buren winding key.
A beautiful, ready-to-display addition for any collector of vintage horology.
The movement is NOT SERVICED and full functionality will not be guaranteed after the passage through the postal service. It could need some TLC or Servicing.
In overall good aesthetic conditions commensurate with age. Marks and scuffs here and there,a couple of chips on the Porcelain Dial as in last photos. No Woodworms.
