The 2020 curved silver dollar is the centerpiece of the Basketball Hall of Fame commemorative program, struck in .999 fine silver with exceptional detail and depth. The obverse features three athletes in motion, capturing the speed and energy of the game, while the reverse uses the domed shape to create a lifelike basketball dropping through a net. This innovative curvature echoes the earlier Baseball Hall of Fame coin and showcases the Mint’s advanced striking technology. Collectors value the silver dollar for its artistry, precious‑metal content, and its role in honoring one of America’s most influential sports institutions. Each coin was issued with a certificate of authenticity and remains a standout modern commemorative.
