French priest L'Abbe F Esmonin produced the spiritual classic 'Bonheur a la Table Saints' in French in 1864, first published as a beautiful small hardback with gilded cover and endpapers by Pellion and Marchet in Dijon.
Judging from the inscription this may be a later edition from up to 1891; it is in excellent condition apart from the minor blemishes mentioned. This antiquarian collectable measures 4.5" x 3.5" and with packaging weighs up to 250g at large letter rate.
