Antique Brevet repeater pocket watch featuring a handsome two-tone case, white enamel dial, ornate gold-tone hands, and a gilt-finished mechanical movement.

The repeater/chime mechanism does function and chimes when activated; however, the watch itself does NOT run and is being sold as-is for repair, restoration, parts, or collection.

The white enamel dial has attractive black Arabic numerals, an outer minute track, and a recessed subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock. The ornate gold-tone hour and minute hands are especially attractive and give the watch a distinctive period appearance.

Please note the visible chip and hairlines in the dial around the 7 o’clock area, as shown clearly in the photos. Additional age-related marks and wear are present.

The case has an appealing two-tone appearance, with a silver/gray body contrasted by gold-tone trim, bow, and crown. The exterior shows substantial age-related wear, tarnish, discoloration, scratches, and loss to the original finish. I have intentionally left these areas visible in the photographs rather than attempting to hide the condition.

The gilt mechanical movement is particularly attractive, with decorative regulator work and visible jeweled components. “BREVET” is marked on the movement near the balance/regulator area. The movement shows normal age and use consistent with an antique mechanical pocket watch.

The inside case cover is stamped 124280.
