Martin D-18 SQ 2011 (no260920)

Since the birth of the first 14-fret joint model in 1934, it has been one of the traditional models that has maintained its style for several generations, standing alongside the D-28 as a masterpiece. This instrument is a 2011 "D-18SQ".

Spruce top, mahogany sides & back, rosewood fingerboard & bridge, Grover silver tuners, pearl dot fingerboard inlays, square rod, non-scalloped X bracing. While adjustable rods are now the mainstream, the drive feel of the entire instrument vibrating with less internal cavity due to the square rod remains very popular.

There is a crack repair on the low about side of the 6th string, and although there are slight scratches and scuffs, it maintains a relatively clean appearance with only minor signs of use. The playing condition is good, and weather checking is beginning to appear, making this an instrument to look forward to even more.
