DESCRIPTION
An original vintage Precicious Analog Selenium Light / Exposure Meter, made in Japan during the 1950s–1960s.
This compact accessory-shoe light meter features a distinctive honeycomb-lens selenium cell window, a top-reading rotary conversion dial with Light Value (EV) and ASA settings, and a rear zero-adjust screw stamped "ADJUSTER JAPAN".
Includes its original black leather hard case embossed with "PRECICIOUS" on the top flap, stamped "JAPAN" on the rear, and complete with its original braided neck lanyard attached.
CONDITION REPORT
Cosmetic Condition: Vintage condition overall with minor edge patina and light verdigris along metal seams.
Dial Cover Note: There is a visible hairline crack in the clear plastic dial cover running across the top needle window (please review photos).
Mechanical / Functional: The needle moves in response to direct light exposure. The rotary calculator dial turns smoothly.
Case & Lanyard: Original black leather case is solid with a functional press-stud snap closure. Lanyard cord remains intact and securely attached.
