Collection of 11 vintage insurance policies and related financial documents from the same DeForce family, dating primarily from the 1930s through 1950s.

The archive includes documents from Prudential Insurance Company of America, Equitable Life Assurance Society, Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance Company and Metropolitan Life, along with Social Security-related material and a War Department envelope.

Many of the policies retain their original attached applications, riders, endorsements and other paperwork. The documents contain original typed and handwritten names, dates, addresses, beneficiaries, premiums and other period information, providing an interesting glimpse into one family's financial and insurance history.

The collection includes policies covering multiple members of the DeForce family, including parents and children, with documents spanning different stages of the family's life.

Wonderful original group of American financial, insurance, genealogy and social-history ephemera that has remained together as a family archive.

Condition:
Vintage pre-owned condition with expected age-related toning, fold creases, edge and corner wear, handwriting, stamps and other signs of age and use. Some pieces have heavier wear than others. Many documents were originally stored folded and will be shipped along their existing folds.
