These Columbia Gear for Rugged Terrain convertible hiking trousers are designed for versatility in outdoor environments. They have zip-off legs that allow them to transition to shorts. They are crafted with Omni-Dry fabric technology to ensure quick moisture wicking and protection against the elements. In addition to the front hand pockets, the left pocket has an adjacent zip up pocket. There is also a zip up rear pocket. The waist band is elasticated to provide additional movement and comfort. It also features belt loops and an integrated D-ring to keep keys, or a small compass accessible during treks. Closure is a stud with integrated zip. The trouser bottoms feature a side zip, that provide additional flare if required for fitting over rugged hiking boots.
