DESCRIPTION

A pre-WWII / 1940s American-made precision test instrument produced by the Precision Apparatus Company of Elmhurst, New York.

The Series 834-S is a high-grade multi-range tester designed for radio service, laboratory work, and field electrical testing.

The unit features a brushed aluminium front panel housed inside a solid hardwood field case with a side compartment for lead storage.

The meter display is set within a black Art Deco Bakelite bezel, featuring scales for Resistance (Ohms), AC/DC Volts, and Decibels.

Control layout includes a 3-position selector knob for AC, DC, and Resistance, an Ohms adjust potentiometer, a central rotary range switch, and heavy-duty insulated binding post jacks for up to 6,000V DC/AC testing.

Includes a set of vintage red and black testing cables.
