The K5 is the latest innovation in full-face helmets from AGV. The K5 is the successor to the K5-s, a top-model full-face helmet with many options and high comfort. The basis of the AGV K5 lies with the AGV Pista and the Corsa. The focus of the K5 is on comfort and safety. The incredibly lightweight shell is made of carbon and aramid fibers. As a result, the helmet weighs only 1500 grams. Thanks to the 3 shells, the helmet is as small, comfortable, and light as possible for every rider. The K5 naturally meets the latest safety standards and has an ECE22.06 homologation.
The K5 excels in the field of ventilation. The new patented system features ventilation on the front and top, and thanks to the channels, it offers optimal comfort under all conditions. The vents can be adjusted individually for optimal ventilation throughout the helmet. The 2 large exhausts at the rear ensure the discharge of warm air.
AGV designed this spoiler to be as aerodynamic as possible to keep the helmet as stable as possible at high speeds. The large visor has a wide 190-degree field of view for excellent visibility on the road. The K5 is Pinlock prepared and a Pinlock 70 MaxVision lens is included in the box. The lining is removable, washable, and equipped with AGV’s DrySpeed technology, allowing the interior to absorb sweat immediately. The K5 is equipped with a removable breath guard, which is convenient as it prevents the visor from fogging up.
Furthermore, the K5 is suitable for installing the new AGV communication system. Thanks to the shell finish, the controller can simply be clicked onto the edge of the shell. The battery can be concealed at the rear of the helmet. This ensures the helmet remains incredibly aerodynamic, even after installing a communication system.
