Trimmed sixth plate occupational tintype of a bason or bricklayer posed in a building. He holds a trowel in one hand and a brick in the other. There is a wall behind him and what looks to be a linoleum type patterned design on the floor beneath him. His coat is buttoned at the top and open and a cap of some sort. Possibly European, but unknown. 1880-90s. Trimmed to 1 7/8” x 3 ¼”. Cut corners. Adhered to a cream color modern paper. See images.
