This is a wonderfully atmospheric, original mid-century watercolour painting titled "Wet June" by the highly-regarded East Anglian landscape artist, Ian Armour-Chelu.

About the Artist:
Ian Armour-Chelu studied fine art at the celebrated Chelsea School of Art before settling in Wissett near Halesworth, Suffolk, where he became a leading figure in the mid-century East Anglian art scene. He enjoyed a series of highly successful solo gallery exhibitions throughout the UK and Europe, most notably exhibiting alongside premier dealers Agnew's in London. His unique, poetic landscape handling makes his original pieces highly sought after by collectors of Modern British art.
