I’m selling an attractive multi-gem ring set with diamonds, rubies, sapphires and green gemstones. All of the stones have tested as genuine.
The gemstones continue all the way around the band, giving the ring a continuous design rather than just being set across the front. There are four larger table-cut diamonds, flat-topped with gently bevelled sides. Between the diamonds are cabochon rubies, sapphires and green gemstones, with smaller rose-cut diamonds surrounding the larger stones.
The ring has previously been inspected through eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee service and was verified as authentic. The authenticator advised that treatment was present in one or more of the “secondary gemstone(s)”. They did not specify which gemstone(s) were affected or the nature of the treatment. I have therefore listed gemstone treatment as “Unknown” where applicable.
I believe the ring to be antique and likely to date to around the 1920s–1930s, although as it is unmarked I cannot guarantee its exact age.
The top of the ring is silver with a solid gold inner band, which has tested as gold, although as the ring is unmarked I cannot guarantee the exact gold fineness. The gallery underneath has pierced detail and fine milgrain work.
Size: N½. Although the ring measures P½ on a ring stick, the full design around the band means it fits closer to a size N½.
Weight: Approximately 17 grams.
Band width: Approximately 14mm.
All of the stones are present and secure. There is light wear to the silver top, together with a small opening in one section of the pierced gallery, as shown in the close-up photograph.
