Previous owner bookplate inside of Ashbel Green of Philadelphia. Ashbel served as a Sargeant in The New Jersey Militia during the American Revolution and was the 8th President of Princeton University.
Full leather original binding, 6.75 x 4.5 inches. There is some damage to spine, covering peeling in two places. Rubbing to covers including edges, spine ends and corners. Front cover is intact but only by the top 2 binding cords. Some staining and foxing to some pages. The first page of the book is the title page, the last page is the last page, 620. Front end page remnant is attached, rear end page missing. See Photos.
