Up for sale is an authentic antique German bisque socket doll head, produced by J.D. Kestner around the turn of the 20th century (circa 1890s–1900s).

Manufacturer: J.D. Kestner (Germany)

Mold Number: 167 (Incised "made in Germany 167" on the lower back of the neck)

Material: Tinted unglazed porcelain / bisque

Features: Beautiful hand-painted facial features including multi-stroke molded/painted eyebrows, fine lower lash detailing, soft cheek blushing, and an open mouth showcasing four white molded upper teeth.

Holes: Features two original factory stringing/rocker access holes at the base of the neck.

Condition:

Sold as-is for repair, restoration, or custom doll projects.

Eyes: Eyes/rocker mechanism are missing (empty eye sockets).

Crown/Rim: The top rim shows chipping and plaster residue from where the original pate was secured.

Bisque: The front facial porcelain is in very good condition with smooth finish, vibrant lip color, and no visible cracks across the face.
