This is a stunning, authentic mid-century modern Japanese colour etching by listed modernist artist Kenji Ushiku (1922-2012). Titled "Poplar - W" (ポプラ - W), this tall, elegant piece showcases Ushiku's signature mastery of delicate fine-line texture, organic silhouettes, and intricate stippled earth tones. 
The print is hand-signed in pencil by the artist along the bottom margin and numbered from a very limited print run of just 95 pieces (58/95).

Provenance & Framing
This artwork retains its brilliant original custom framing from Kato Framing in Tokyo, Japan, complete with the maker's label on the back. It features a brushed metallic gold-tone wooden frame and an elongated cream card mount that beautifully accentuates the verticality of the tree.

Condition Report
Print: Excellent condition. Colours remain crisp, and the impression is clean with no visible water damage, fading, or severe waviness.
Frame: Strong and structurally sound. The frame shows minor light surface scuffs consistent with vintage age. The rear paper backing has a small surface tear (visible in photos) but remains securely sealed.
