This is a wonderful ring.  It would work well as a cocktail, dinner, every day, anniversary or even an engagement ring.  There is a pear cut sapphire that is an amazing shade of very dark blue surrounded by 13 genuine round brilliant cut diamonds that are very shiny and sparkly.  The sapphire is about .33 ct and the diamonds add up to a total of about .3 ct.  This ring has sides that extend up to about the level of the stone.  Inside the band is marked 14 K and this ring has also been tested and shown to be genuine 14 K gold.  It has been recently polished, is very shiny and has that warm glow and bright shine that only comes with real gold.  This piece weighs a total of about 4.3 g.  The diamonds were tested with a diamond tester and shown to be genuine.  The sapphire was checked with a very reputable phone app, it is believed to be genuine but has not been otherwise independently verified.  There are a few signs of normal wear to the setting and stones but they are very difficult to notice with the naked eye.  Please see the pictures for more information about this gorgeous piece of jewelry.
