Known mechanical issues
The car experienced an oil-pressure/oil-starvation issue. The wet cambelt was subsequently found to be degraded and was replaced, as detailed above.
The turbocharger has failed and requires replacement. A garage has advised that the turbo has been damaged and believes this may be related to the earlier oil-starvation episode.
The car also developed a starting fault. This was initially intermittent but is now permanent and the car currently does not start.
The headlights come on automatically while the engine is running even when the switch is OFF. This may be normal daytime-running-light behaviour but has not been confirmed.
Exterior & interior condition
The car is in used condition for its age and has some age-related marks and signs of wear to the bodywork and interior.
There is also a small split and a ding in the bodywork just above the front grille and a ding on the front of the bonnet. In addition, the grille has two splits at top either end (I think from when I accidentally rolled into the car in front of me at a traffic lights approx year ago).
