LoDown Audio System Match No. 1 – The Workshop Edition

A complete, ready-to-play hi-fi system put together and tested by LoDown Audio.

This isn't simply a bundle of separate used hi-fi components. I've selected and matched these pieces because they work and sound genuinely good together, then tested and listened to the complete system as one setup.

The idea is simple: get back to listening to music through a proper stereo system.

Whether it's going in the workshop, kitchen, home office or studio, you can connect your tablet or compatible device and enjoy your streaming music through a proper stereo amplifier and pair of speakers – or put a CD in the TEAC and go old school.

WHY A SYSTEM MATCH?

Buying separate used hi-fi can mean working out which amplifier goes with which speakers, finding the correct cables and hoping everything works properly together.

I've done that part for you.

The Sony amplifier and speakers make a particularly good match, while the TEAC is a quality dedicated CD player that fits nicely into the system.

The little Sony speakers genuinely surprised me with how good they sound. Together the system gives a full, enjoyable proper stereo sound that's a huge step up from listening through a small smart or Bluetooth speaker.

Everything has been individually tested and then connected, listened to and tested again as a complete system.

The components are matched, the required cables are supplied and the speaker cable is prepared ready for connection.

Connect it up, choose your music and listen.
