Antique British Royal Artillery (RA) Military Officer’s Swagger Stick / Dress Cane.

28 inches.

Up for sale is an authentic, antique British Army military swagger stick belonging to the Royal Regiment of Artillery (The Gunners).

This is a classic piece of British militaria, historically carried by officers, warrant officers, or senior NCOs as part of their walking-out or barrack dress uniforms.

Pommel / Top:

The white metal / nickel-silver ball handle features the embossed regimental insignia of the Royal Artillery.

It displays the iconic three stacked field cannons (field guns) pointing left, enclosed within a traditional circular Order of the Garter belt border.

The top shows heavy, honest patina and wear consistent with decades of service and handling.

Shaft:

A slender, polished dark hardwood shaft with a natural aged finish.

Please note that the wooden shaft has a gentle, cosmetic warp/bend near the middle section from age and storage (visible in photos), which adds to its authentic, rustic character.

Collar & Ferrule:

Features a brass-toned metal collar below the handle and a protective metal ferrule tip at the bottom base.

Antiques / Used condition with signs of age, wear, and historic service.

The metal top shows substantial tarnish, oxidation, and smoothing to the embossed details from natural palm wear.

The wooden shaft is structurally intact but features a visible curve/warp as shown in the full-length photograph.

A wonderful, untouched addition to any British Army, WW1, or WW2 militaria collection!
