The ULTRON Vintage Line 35mm f/2 Aspherical is a compact fast standard prime for Leica M-mount cameras, sharing the same 8-element, 5-group aspherical optical design across both Type I and Type II versions. The Type II takes its design inspiration from early 1970s classic lenses, featuring a focusing lever in place of the Type I's focusing knob and a brass exterior available in silver and black paint finishes. At 210g it is approximately 40g heavier than the Type I.

Optically the ULTRON tradition is upheld: neutral, accurate rendering with clean contrast and high micro-contrast across the frame. Peripheral colour aberrations are well controlled for digital sensor compatibility. The compact dimensions and all-metal construction suit photographers who want a discreet, precise 35mm for street, travel, and documentary work on Leica M cameras.
