History
There is something incredibly beautiful about raw pink amethyst. It’s a
new stone that was only discovered very recently, in a deposit in
Patagonia, Argentina. The El Chiquada mine is the most popular place.
Amethyst becomes pink as a result of inclusions of Hematite within the
crystalline structure. Scientists examining pink amethyst stone were
able to conclude early on that this crystal is undoubtedly closer to
amethyst than any other major mineral, including rose quartz. It was
only discovered and mined for the first time in 2019, meaning it holds a
frequency not yet fully tapped into by the human body. Even so, since
pink amethyst appeared almost out of thin air, its rarity and recent
discovery is an honor for those who are fortunate enough to experience
it first-hand during its early years. For many, the true meaning of pink
amethyst is that “the best is yet to come”, meaning there’s so much
more left to discover, and that there will always be more wonderful
things to learn about and explore.

Hematite’s addition to the formation equation causes pink amethyst to form in addition to genuine amethyst. When compared to purple amethyst, pink amethyst is distinguished by its dusty rose or light pink color. This fusion between silicon dioxide, iron, and hematite took thousands of years. More rarely, some specimens of pink amethyst can contain manganese. It has a mineral hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale, which makes it a durable stone for jewelry. The mineral forms a trigonal system and it can be transparent, translucent, or opaque. It’s non-splitting. It has conchoidal and splintery fracture properties. Its shine can range from glassy to oily. It can range in color from deep, dark pink hues to pale lilac-pink, mauve-pink, and almost-red pink. These varying hues are due to the level of iron present during its formation as well as varying levels of hematite and Manganese.

This gentle love energy is deeply connected to the spirits, but in a healing way as opposed to a psychic way. You’re likely to find your intuition is increased when working with pink amethyst. The pink amethyst symbolism is strong despite its paler tint. It has purifying energy and is renowned for inspiring sensations of elegance, tranquillity, and understanding. What’s really incredible about pink amethyst is that it is able to stimulate three chakras simultaneously. This is not common, as most stones generally only work closely with one chakra. Pink amethyst works with the heart chakra, the third eye chakra and the crown chakra. It is particularly instrumental in opening up the heart after it has been deeply wounded, either through grief or trauma.

Due to its ability to integrate heaven and earth, amethyst can be a welcome addition to the Helpful People part of the Bagua or Qian. This subject is related to beneficiaries, travel, and the concept of heaven. You can place amethyst here to improve your connection to the sky or to draw in more help from unknown sources. You may find the Qian position by standing in your front doorway and peering inside. The right corner closest to you will be where Qian will be.

Shipping is based on buyers address. Plus a handling charge is added based on size of specimen and how fragile the piece is (minimum is $3.00 per item).

Combined Shipping
We like to ship our specimens individually boxed and when we feel it is necessary double boxed to help ensure that your item is received without damage. Packing more than one specimen in a box could cause damage to one or both during shipping. We can offer combined shipping on some of our specimens. If you are interested in more than one of our items, send us an email about combining the shipping to help lower your shipping costs. You can also request an invoice at time of purchase to see if we will be able to discount your shipping costs. We will discount the shipping when possible.

Return Policy
- 30 Day return grace period on all mineral specimens. You may return your item in the condition you received it if you contact us within 30 days of receiving it.
- Contact us for a RMA number before returning item(s).
- The item MUST be returned in its original condition and shipped in the original packaging to receive a full refund minus shipping costs.
- If we receive a return that is not in original condition, you will not receive a full refund.
- A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from returns that do not have an RMA number. Contact us through eBay's email system for RMA before returning this item.
- Buyer must pay for shipping on all returns.
