This cover is postmarked Wapakoneta, Ohio on September 6, 1969, the date that Neil Armstrong visited his hometown after returning from the Apollo 11 mission.
The cachet depicts Neil Armstrong walking on the surface of the Moon with the Lunar Landing Module in the background. At the top of the cachet is printed in raised red print "Neil Armstrong" and in a darker color "First Man on the Moon". At the bottom of the cachet is printed "Apollo 11" and "Welcome Home" (in red). All of the printed is raised and very colorful (see photo).
The stamp is the 6 cent Flag Over White House stamp issued in 1968 - SC# 1338.
The cover is not sealed and is unaddressed.
