MITSUMOTO SAKARI Professional Japanese 1000/3000 Grit Grit, White

Features:

1000/3000 Grit Whetstone: This double-sided knife sharpening stone has a 1000 grit side for edge sharpening and a 3000 grit side for honing, helping kitchen knives regain smoother cutting performance for meat, fish, vegetables and fruit prep.
White Corundum Sharpening Stone: The white corundum body is formed through high-temperature sintering and pressing, supporting steady abrasion for controlled edge maintenance on chef knives, utility knives, paring knives and other kitchen knives.
Controlled Water Absorption: The pore structure is designed for proper water absorption and slurry formation after soaking, helping this Japanese-style water stone create smoother sharpening feedback without the need for sharpening oil.
Bamboo Base with Non-Slip Pad: The whetstone sits on a bamboo wooden base with a non-slip pad, helping reduce movement during sharpening so users can keep better control and maintain a more consistent 15°-20° sharpening angle.
Bonded Dual-Grit Surface: The double-sided bonded construction combines sharpening and honing in one whetstone sharpener, while the flat surface processing and kraft paper Japanese-style box support organized storage and refined presentation.
