The original package identifies this as a 7-inch length scratch awl. Dasco’s catalog describes the 431-0 as a one-piece, drop-forged tool designed to start holes in soft wood and to scribe or mark wood and other soft materials. The carded 431-0 version carries UPC 018371043106.
