I went to New Zealand in the early 2000's and purchased this Beautiful Hei Matau from a gallery in Aoteroa. Its carved by Nathan Jerry a rebound Master Carver from the South Island. Its carved from a single piece of Rate New Zealand flower Jade which is highly sought after and rare due to legal restrictions.
A large stunning piece with the veins and natural inclusions within the stone. Has a lovely strong waxed cord attatched. The bindings are superb. No chips or cracks. A beautiful pendant. A rare one off treasure. Im also listing a Rare Flower Jade Hei Tiki.
